If video playback on MontavueGo Desktop is choppy for you, your computer may not have the processing power to handle all of your cameras in full resolution.
To solve this problem, open MontavueGo Desktop and click the Gear Icon in the top right-hand corner.

Once the System Config dialogue loads, select Preview and Playback from the options on the left. Change the Default Stream Type dropdown from Self-adaptive Stream Type to Sub Stream. Click Apply, then Save.

Once you’ve made this change you’ll need to reload your cameras for the changes to take effect.
The quickest way to do this is to restart the MontavueGo Desktop app.
